Une jeune photographe marocaine de notoriété internationale, vit à Paris. Elle sillonne le monde et organise des expositions de ses photos dans plusieurs galeries. Elle reçoit un appel du pays qu’elle avait quitté depuis dix ans à la mort de son père, pour l’informer que sa mère est malade. Elle décide de rentrer malgré elle.

Son retour va être l’occasion son passé avec ses joies et ses douleurs, l’histoire controversée et secrète de ses parents, celle de son ancien amour non oublié, ainsi que celle d’une ancienne bonne qui avait travaillé chez sa famille et que le destin a mené vers une vie tumultueuse. La trajectoire des trois femmes va suivre des cheminements différents pour aboutir à des situations inattendus.

A young internationally renowned Moroccan photographer lives in Paris. She travels the world and organizes exhibitions of her photos in several galleries. She receives a call from the country she had left for ten years ago at the death of her father, informing her that her mother is seriously ill. She decides to go in spite of  herself.

Her return will be an opportunity to relive her past with its joys and sorrows, the controversial and secret story of her parents, that of her former but unforgotten love, as well as that of an old maid who had been at the service of her family and whose fate has led to a tumultuous life. The trajectory of the three women will follow different paths to converge on the unexpected…
