Au lendemain des évènements du 11 septembre 2001 aux Etats-Unis, un nombre important d’arabes/Musulmans étaient obligés de quitter ce pays suite aux harcèlements subis.

Une famille Maroco – Américaine ; père Marocain, mère Américaine et leur deux enfants ; décident de rentrer au Maroc. Leur retour pose le problème du regard négatif que jette l’occident sur la culture arabo - musulmane et l’amalgame qu’il fait de sa structure et composition.

Au sein de cette famille un conflit se noue entre les parents, opposant le retour aux racines du père au refus de sa reconnaissance par la mère. Entre les deux, les enfants tergiversent entre traditions et modernité et sont à la recherche de leur véritable identité.

Just after events of September 11th, 2001 in the United States, number of Arabic / Muslims were obliged to leave this country because of subjected harassments.

A Morocco – American family; Moroccan father, American mother and their two children; decided to come back to Morocco. Their return poses the problem of the negative look that the Occident have on arabo-muslim culture, and the amalgam which it makes of its structure and composition.

Within this family a conflict takes shape between the parents, facing the return to the roots of the father to the refusal of its recognition by the mother. Between two, the children equivocate between traditions and modernity and are in search of their true identity.
