Amin, un jeune architecte qui vit en France, revient précipitamment au Maroc pour voir, juste avant sa mort, son oncle qui l’a élevé et à qui il n’a plus adressé la parole depuis dix ans. 
Malgré lui, Amin se replonge dans le souvenir de son enfance malheureuse, car ses visites à l’hôpital ravivent ses blessures profondes, longtemps refoulées et exacerbées par les silences entourant la mort de sa mère. 
Aziz, son ami d’enfance, l’aide à dépasser ses mauvais souvenirs et Amin rencontre alors Hourya, jeune fille audacieuse et gaie. 
Mais leur histoire d’amour va malheureusement être vite contrariée par la mort de l’oncle, qui n’apaise pas les tourments du jeune homme…

Amin, a young architect living in France, hurried back to Morocco to see, just before his death, his uncle who raised him and to whom he has not spoken for ten years.

In spite of himself, Amin plunges back into the memory of his unhappy childhood, because his visits to the hospital revive his deep wounds, long repressed and exacerbated by the silences surrounding the death of his mother.

Aziz, his childhood friend, helps him to overcome his bad memories and Amin then meets Hourya, a bold and cheerful girl.

But their love story will unfortunately be quickly thwarted by the death of the uncle, who does not appease the torments of the young man ...
