ZAHRA, The Girl of the Mountain

This documentary traces the life of Zahra, a woman from the Atlas who fights daily to support her family in Asguine, a village in the heart of the Ourika Valley, 40 km from Marrakech.

Behind her innocent harbor, her illiteracy and her banal daily activities hides a woman of character, with a big heart, as strong as the mountain that surrounds her.

Thus, through a day with Zahra, we discover its various activities (preparing meals, weaving traditional carpets, raising sheep and cattle, raising children, welcoming tourists who visit the region and who come to admire his house in millenary architecture ...), but also its relationship with the land, with others and with the outside world …
