Derkaoui Abdelkrim

Biography

Abdelkrim Mohamed Derkaoui is a director of photography and Moroccan producer born on March 29, 1945 in Oujda. He studied at the National Film School of Łódź in Poland. Then returns to Morocco to become one of the most renowned directors of photography in the profession. As such, he has worked on thirty feature films, documentaries and fiction. In in 1982, he received the Grand Prize at the 3rd Valencia Mostra for his participation as a photo director in the film "Poupées de roseaux".
