Lamharzi Alaoui Azlarabe

Biography

Graduated from the Film and Television School in Canada, Azzelarabe Lamharzi Alaoui is a director, scriptwriter, documentary filmmaker, journalist and film critic. He has directed several documentaries for national and international channels, as well as short and feature films. He is the author of the book "The Critical Approach in Moroccan Cinema Discourse". He is also a university professor and a doctor in audiovisual cinematographic speech. In 2012, he won the Special Jury Prize at the Salé Festival, the Critics' Prize and the Best Picture Award at the Muscat Festival.
