Chraïbi Saâd
Biography
A Moroccan director and producer born in 1952, in Fez. He has directed several movies and documentaries addressing Moroccan society and history. He addressed women’s condition in Morocco. He is an activist and an intellectual and took part in a host of conferences around the world. Saâd Chraïbi was awarded over twenty prizes in national and foreign festivals. He was also member of jury and president of several national and international cinema festivals. From 1995 to 2015, he served as secretary general of the Moroccan chamber of film producers and participated in drafting legal texts on the Moroccan motion picture.
