Khallaf Said
Biography
Saïd is an emerging writer and filmmaker, originally from Morocco, presently living in Vancouver, Canada. He started his career in the film industry in Vancouver, Canada. He started off as a stage performer, he co-wrote and performed in a number of theatre plays.
From 2003 to 2005, he joined a Vancouver Film School to take his vision to a different level. For a year and half, he produced and directed for the Canadian Channel M a weekly TV Show that highlighted the Arab community activities in Canada. In 2008, he directed and edited 5 short documentaries for ALJazeera, In Amman and Doha Qatar. From 2006 to 2011, Saïd had written and directed 4 short films. In 2014, Saïd directed his first long feature ‘’A Mile In My Shoes’’ that was shot in his hometown CASABLANCA.
