El Faris Ilias

Biography

Born in Agadir in 1990, Ilias El Faris now lives in Paris. He is a director, assistant director, screenwriter, director of photography, set designer and costume designer

He shot his first short film Azayz,  in Taghazout, which was selected in various festivals and awarded the International Jury Prize at Doclisboa 2016. Ilias is also the co-screenwriter of the short film Le Petit directed by Lorenzo Bianchi, awarded at the last Clermont-Ferrand festival. In addition, Ilias is an actor and animates film workshops in primary school.
