Biography

Mohamed KARRAT was born on May 24, 1969 in Casablanca. He is director and the first supervisor of visual effects in Morocco. He is the director and the creator of the fantastic series "THE OTHER DIMENSION - AL BOUD AL AKHAR" broadcasted on 2M. It was the first fantastic series in Morocco with spectacular special effects. This series received 3 prizes: 2 prizes at the CAIRO festival and 1 prize at the NOUJOUM BLADI festival. He also directed TV movies for the same channel.

His first feature film Nhar Tzad Tfa Do had lot of success. His second feature film Un pari pimenté, a romantic comedy was selected at the International Film Festival of Marrakech in the "Coup de Coeur" section in December 2014 and other national and international festivals such as the 2015 Montreal World Film Festival.
