Biography

From his real name, Kamal Eddine Benabid, is a director born in 1961 in BERKANE. From 1971 to 1978, he studied solfeggio and gharnatie music at the conservatory of Oujda, then enrolled in the faculty of the same city, section: French literature. In 1986, he organized the festival of popular arts of SAIDIA, then, two years later, he directs the RAI festival in Oujda. From 1993 to 1996, he studied scriptwriting at the Free Conservatory of Cinema in Paris. Since 1997, he has participated in the production of many video clips. He has also worked for Moroccan television and directed commercials. He has directed 3 feature films: Taif Nizar (2002), Moroccan Symphony (2006) and Sotto Voce (2013).
