Nomadic Wedding in Merzouga

The nomads, whose only name already evokes freedom and wide spaces, live at the immutable rate of the seasons, moving over transhumance. Between sand and stones, without any superfluity, only a great solidarity makes it possible to face the rough  life conditions, and the time is suspended only during the ceremonies. In the region of Merzouga, the Amazighe tribe of Ait Bouni prepares to celebrate a wedding according to rites and customs in a wonderful natural landsape, reflecting these symbolic moments almost already from another age and that tend to disappear with the sedentarization.
