"When I was a little girl I regularly saw my mother practicing the trance, she slowly went into this extreme attitude and forgot about the outside world and its limits. Years passed, and one day when I was working in a local radio, I recognise these sounds in a disc that I received. It  was a group called "Gnawa Diffusion." I was first attracted to the name, the music was a mixture, a fusion of Gnawa music and modern and Western music. Amazigh Kateb and Aziz Maysour of the Gnawa Diffusion group give me answers to this image that haunts me, that of my mother taken by the trance in France and I untie this image , this mystery going to the Gnawa of Morocco and Algeria ... "
