Le jeu de l’amour

This is the tortuous itinerary reports of a couple in three decisive stages of their life :
- In the dawn of the young couple's constitution, when thoughtlessness and heedlessness feed their dreams of love and happiness.
- In maturity, when the weight of life experiences oppresses heart and breath, and forces limits on the perception of love and happiness.
- Finally in the third age, when the couple is led by force to mark a full stop and get lessons out of their experiences with a so detached look.
The story is constructed on the parallels of these three stages, starts with the departure of the young couple for the holiday. Along the way, they decide to embellish their travel with a game: the woman will play the role of a "hitch-hiker" and the young man that of a "passionate driver"...
But, quickly, thoughtlessness of the game gives place to the heaviness and complexity of hidden feelings in the inmost of their souls. Jealousy, obsessive fear of infidelity, hidden resentments which appear again, without knowing the protagonists, and spoil their relations...
After six years of separation the couple meets again and travels again in an opposite sense: they wonder about the reasons of failure of their first experience and try to look for rational explanations for these obscure reasons which prevent love to be settled in time and space...
Then, after another ten years of separation, the couple decides, by the "game of confidences", to write and direct the tortuous development of their proper love story...
But, could we consider oneself, objectively, in three stages of their life? Doesn’t time deform vision? The interior mirror doesn't it reflect a deformed and elusive image? These crucial questions are the starting point of this treatment based on the confrontation of three visions, in three times, three dimensions, but in the same space, so as to try and penetrate this elusive alchemy of love.
