Adil, an unstable and agitated young man, works at the port, looking forward to making his dream come true : to go to Italy where his brother Faouzi lives. His friend Rachid, has a different dream : to own a shop for CD's and DVD's trade.

As if by magic, Adil finds himself with his brother Faouzi in Bologne, where he meets Boubker, the Iman of the mosque, and the doctor Giusepe called El Haj Youssef, an Italian converted into Islam.
