The Egyptian Film "Casablanca" Shot in Morocco
After some footage shot in Egypt, the film crew of the Egyptian film "Casablanca" is about to move to Casablanca to film the rest of the sequences. The film, directed by the Egyptian director Peter Mimi, will be filmed mainly in Casablanca, according to the producer Walid Mansour.
The film, which will be released in 2019, will feature several stars of Egyptian cinema including Amir Karara, Ghada Adel, Amr Abdel Galil, Dalal Abdel Aziz and Mahmoud El Bazzawy. The film will also know the participation of the Moroccan actor Mohamed Miftah who is at his first appearance in the Egyptian cinema, alongside Turkish Halit Ergenç.
Mohamed Miftah had already appeared in Egyptian television series, including "Bab Al Khaleq" in 2012 with the late Mahmoud Abdelaziz and "Maamoun wa chorakaouh" in 2016 with the icon Adel Imam.
