CCM grants advances on receipts to several film projects

The Commission for the Production of Cinematographic Artworks decided to grant advances on receipts to several film and documentary projects for the third session of 2018, held from 12 to 16 November in Rabat. Chaired by Driss Alaoui Mdaghri, this commission is made up of Amina Saibari, Latifa Baqa, Meriem Khatouri, Fatima Ait Mhand, Laila Tounzi, Mrabih Rabou Maou Laenin, Mohammed Bakrim, Abderrazak Ezzahir, Mohamed El Kadmiri, Driss Tahri and Abdelhak Fikri.

According to a statement from the CCM, a total of one million dirhams was awarded to the feature film "Taxi Bied" directed by Moncef Malzi, in the category of films after production, and 150,000 DH to the short films "Angoisse" by Ali Benjelloun and "Roujoula" by Ilias El Faris.

Concerning the projects of fiction films before production, an amount of 4.150.000 DH has been awarded to the projects of the feature films "Wind Rider" which will be directed by Anouar Mouatassim and "La vie me va bien" which will be directed by Al Hadi Ulad Mohand.

In this same category, sums of 4.100.000 DH, 3.600.000 DH and 1.950.000 DH will respectively be dedicated to the feature film projects "Green Card" by Mohamed Hicham Regragui, "Le mont Moussa" by Driss Mrini and "Heaven is Dark"which will be co-directed by Joseph Bull and Luke Seomore.

Concerning the documentary category, a sum of 1,000,000 dirhams was awarded to Ali Oualdah's feature documentary  "Calendrier sans chiffres", to "Li Attarikhi man Yahkih" by Drissi Sidi Mohamed, to  "Esmara, Bawh Soukhour bi Asrar Al Ousour ", which will be directed by Lhassan El Omari and" Rihlat Al Baht Ani Arrabaid"  by Taoufik Charaf-Eddine.
