Lasri Hicham

Biography

Hicham Lasri is born on April 13, 1977. He is a Moroccan film director, producer and screenwriter. Lasri was born on April 13, 1977 in Casablanca. After obtaining a degree in law, he changed orientation and begins a career of playwright. He was a student of the screenwriter Emmanuelle Sardou and the filmmaker Hassan Leghzouli. Then he did an internship supervised by Sylvie Bailly, that allowed him to deepen his training on Sitcoms. His film The Sea Behind was presented at the Berlinale in 2015. Starve Your Dog premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and then at the Berlinale in 2016. His fifth film, Headbang Lullaby, World Premiere at the Berlinale 2017 , was nominated at the Tangier National Festival and at the International  Festival of Tetouan.
