Benhamou El Madani Rahma
Biography
Rahma Benhamou El Madani was born on 7 September 1966 in Aïn Kihal, Algeria, from Moroccan parents.
At the age of 6 she left with her family Algeria for France. She studied Language Sciences at Bordeaux III. She worked for Radio Clé des Ondes for more than 5 years. In 1993 she left Bordeaux for Lille, to study modern Letters. She took training courses in shooting at the CRRAV, in the direction of actors and in game techniques. She obtains a Master pro cinema (production, screenplay, production) and a Master in cinema research. Since 2007 she writes the screenplay for her first feature film, which is being developed between France, the Maghreb and China, she is also preparing a documentary about her native village, and a short film in Marrakech.
